100,000 Poles to take part in military training in 2027, PM says

WARSAW (Reuters) – Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Tuesday the government wants to launch a new programme to offer voluntary military training from next year, with a target to train 100,000 volunteers in 2027.

“By the end of March, the government will have prepared the Ministry of National Defence’s proposals on how the model for training 100,000 people in 2027 would function,” Tusk said ahead of a government sitting.
